- Time To Stop the Lawyers' Clock - FT article on the challenges for the hourly rate. Well balanced article (for which you'll have to register to get the whole thing) which helpfully makes the point that it's not all that great for lawyers either. - Policing vs Guidelines - Roo Reynolds (an IBM employee) highlights the way in which IBM manages its employees' use of social media. - Unfair Marketing Becomes Criminal Offence next week - useful note from OUT-LAW.com reminding us all that The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 come into force on 26th May 2008. You could always go along to one of their free breakfast seminars on the topic which they are holding in June.
- Bob Geldof at NESTA's Innovation Edge 08 this week. I went along to the event at the Royal Festival Hall along with 3,000 other people. Interesting day for all sorts of reasons, but Bob was the highlight for me. Thought provoking and worth a look.
